William C. Weaver, Ph.D.

Dr. Weaver is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Central Florida (one of the five largest AACSB accredited undergraduate schools of business in the U.S.) whose teaching, research and consulting interests revolve around the area of investment and valuation and related litigation support involving investment and valuation issues such as:

1. valuation of businesses, FLP's/LLC's, & complex real estate....   

2. economic damages relating to litigation....        

3. real estate & construction related litigation....

Weaver has been involved as a forensic economist and valuation consultant for 20+ years and has provided expert witness testimony in both Federal & state courts.

He  currently serves as a consultant to the real estate and appraisal licensing divisions of Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation

Dr. Weaver has taught one of the few University level MBA courses offered in the United States on business valuation. He also teaches real estate related topics such as investment analysis and finance and has taught other real estate related courses such as real estate development and real estate appraisal.

He has spoken extensively at various professional and association meetings throughout the US & has written more than 50 academic and professional articles on a wide variety of subjects. He has taught for the Appraisal Institute and one of his recent Appraisal Journal articles about risk measurement won an international award from the Appraisal Institute.
