Are you in the right major? Are you feeling confused about what you can do with your business degree? Are you curious to see if another business major might better suit you?

Career Services offers a comprehensive range of services to help UCF business students reach their academic and career goals. These services and resources are designed to help you manage your education and career planning by:

  • Choosing and confirming educational and career choices
  • Gaining career-related experience
  • Developing effective job search skills
  • Searching for full-time employment

Major Exploration

Before you can choose a major or a career you need to know yourself—your values, interests, personality and skills. The Career Services office has online Career Assessment Tools that can help you determine these qualities. It is important to remember these assessments are not tests and do not have all the answers. They will not tell you what you “should do” or “should be;” however, they can help point you in a direction that fits you.

My Plan is a career assessment used by the University of Central Florida to determine your values, interests, personality and skills. Match your preferences to career possibilities. Look at the career database which includes career profiles, job descriptions, educational requirements and career outlook information.
