Many financial services firms have job opportunities on their web pages. As of November 2009, the number of workers in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia Counties for some of the largest financial services firms in the area were: J.P. Morgan Chase (credit card unit and WAMU, 3,241), SunTrust Banks, Inc (3,046), Wells Fargo (Wachovia, 2,730), Bank of America Corp.(1,900), Bank of New York Mellon (1,046), BB&T (Colonial, 929), Brown & Brown Inc. (808), Charles Schwab Corp. (780), and Regions Bank (693). (Source: Orlando Sentinel, 12/07/09, p. CFB 13) One should also check the list suggested below to identify other banks in a defined area.
To obtain a list of all commercial banks, savings banks, savings associations and U.S. branches of foreign banks in an individual city, county, metropolitan statistical area (MSA), or state, by amount of deposits and deposit market share go to FDIC's Summary of Deposits. For example, as of 6/30/09, the following top ten institutions in terms of deposits in the Central Florida area (Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia Counties) had the specified millions of dollars of deposits: SunTrust ($10,473), Bank of America ($8,936), Wachovia/Wells Fargo ($8,930), Colonial/BB&T ($4,175), Regions ($2,224), Washington Mutual/JPMorgan Chase ($1,878), Fifth Third Bank ($1,435), National City Bank/PNC ($1,122), Riverside NB of Florida ($1,013), and CNLBank ($800). The top three institutions had 55% of deposits and the top ten out of 69 institutions had 79% of the $51.8 billion of deposits in the area. Deposits should be correlated with employment opportunities in an area. See recent examples for Florida Deposits and Central Florida Deposits.
Home Price Comparison Index (Coldwell Banker) - Using a standardized home, the average sales prices for many cities are provided at https://secure.coldwellbanker.com/request/CBDocument?QMLclass=HPCI. HPCI subject homes are based upon a single-family dwelling model with approximately 2,200 sq.ft., 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, family room (or equivalent) and 2-car garage. Surveyed homes and neighborhoods are typical for corporate middle-management transferees. You may enter your location and sales price and up to three other locations in the U.S.

insurance and securities; allows banks to offer any service of a financial
nature; protects the Community Reinvestment Act while at the same time
