Gregory Trompeter Hired As C.G. Avery Professor of Accounting
Gregory Trompeter has joined the CBA as the C.G. Avery Professor of Accounting in the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting. Trompeter comes to UCF from Boston College, where he was an associate professor and director of the Master of Science in Accounting Program. His primary research interests include issues related to auditor independence, audit judgment and the economics of the markets for auditing and consulting services. He has served on editorial boards and has published articles in a number of premier accounting journals. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
