Marshall Schminke Chosen As BB&T Professor of Business Ethics
Marshall Schminke, a professor of management, has been selected as the BB&T Professor of Business Ethics. Schminke was chosen based on his vast experience in business ethics and strategic management. His research has resulted in numerous awards, over 40 publications, and more than 70 presentations at professional conferences and universities in the U.S. and abroad. He has published a book on managerial ethics and served as associate editor for the scholarly journals Business Ethics Quarterly and the Academy of Management Journal. In addition, he serves as an Academic Fellow at the Ethics Resource Center. Schminke received his doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University and has served as a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University.
