Glenn Harrison Named Richard T. Crotty Orange Co. Endowed Chair
Economics professor Glenn W. Harrison has been named the inaugural Richard T. Crotty Orange County Endowed Chair. Crotty is the mayor of Orange County, Florida. In his new role, Harrison will engage in teaching, research and scholarly activities relating to urban and regional economic research. Additionally, he will serve as a critical resource for the Institute for Economic Competitiveness, which is located in the CBA. Harrison, a native of Australia, joined UCF in 2003. His research interests include experimental economics, environmental and resource economics, and international trade policy. He is widely published in those areas and has made numerous presentations throughout the world. He received his Ph.D. in economics from UCLA.
