 SBDC Offering Free Workshop On "Going Green"

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UCF is offering a free workshop entitled, "Green Business: An Introduction to Sustainability in Business," on Wednesday, October 1, from 8 to 10 a.m. The event will be held at the SBDC, which is located in the Disney Entrepreneur Center, 315 E. Robinson Street, Suite 100, Orlando, FL 32801. Mary Panks-Holmes, president, Climate Culture, will be the guest speaker. The workshop is designed specifically for small business owners and topics include defining the difference between "going green" and sustainability in business, explaining how sustainability in business is changing the marketplace, and identifying some of the influencing factors.
