 Management Information Systems BSBA

UCF MIS graduates will be able to:

Discipline Specific Knowledge, Skills, Behavior and Values Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate fundamental programming principles.
  2. Apply basic knowledge of telecommunications networks.
  3. Demonstrate effective teamwork by collaborating in group settings to solve selected business problems.
  4. Apply appropriate information technologies, such as Microsoft Excel, to specified business problems.

Critical Thinking Outcomes

  1. Apply current methods for analyzing and designing systems.
  2. Apply current methods of database analysis, design, and implementation.
  3. Apply basic accounting, mathematical, logical, statistical, and information systems skills and tools to solve information systems problems.

Communication Outcome

  1. Produce effective oral and written communications related to management information systems.

Assessment of MIS Outcomes

These outcomes will be assessed using a variety of assessment methods, including:

  • Exams
  • Individual and team projects
  • Written papers
  • Oral presentations
