Who Is The Most Powerful Person in Central Florida?

That would be CBA alum Alex Martins, ’01, according to the upcoming issue of Orlando Magazine. Martins, chief executive officer of the Orlando Magic was ranked number one in a list of the region’s most powerful people. Martins earned his MBA from the college and was inducted into our Hall of Fame in 2008. Fellow CBA alum Jim Atchison, ’92, a member of the UCF Board of Trustees, and president and chief executive officer of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment was ranked 40th on the list. Atchison was inducted into the CBA Hall of Fame in 2005. Several other people from UCF were ranked including President John C. Hitt who was ranked fourth. Read more on the rankings.
