Students Coordinated Golf Tournament To Help Children

Event coordinators Hannah Meyers and Katie Blizzard.

Sixty four golfers participated in a golf tournament that raised money for the non-profit group, Healing the Children. The tournament, coordinated by students from the Sport Business Club, was held at Stoneybrook East Golf Club. Money was also raised from both a silent and online auction. Healing the Children is a nonprofit organization that provides vital medical services to ill and underprivileged children in the United States and internationally. The student group raised enough money to provide over $300,000 worth of medical care to children in need. Contact the Sport Business Club for more information on how you can help organize the event next year.
