ISM 3011/5020: "What do I do?"

1. Register for the ISM 3011 and ISM 5020 in the same way that you register for any other course at UCF. (If you are not a business major, you will have to visit the Office of Student Support on the second floor of the business building to register in person.)

2. Review the ISM 3011 Syllabus .

3. [This form is no longer available for Summer 2002] Fill out a form to notify Dr. Leigh that you are a member of his class; to see the class member information form and instructions click here. You must fill out this form in order to receive the Class ID and password that you use when taking online tests. (The Class ID has no relationship to your social security number.) Also, you must fill out this form to be added as a member to the class email group. Class ID numbers and passwords will be issued during the second week of class.

4. Read the course psyche-out and the frequently asked questions pages.

5. Join the class email group. You must fill out the class information form before the end of the first week of class to be added as a member to the class email group. (If you fail to fill out this form by the end of the first week of class you will have to email Dr. Leigh directly leigh@pegasus.cc.ucf.edu including your full name and ss number, to request that you be added as a member of the email group.)

6. Note on your calendar the date of the first test -- find this date on the Course Calendar, which is linked from the course home page.

7. Prepare for the first test as directed in the study guide for Module 1, which is linked from the course home page. Read the Test Instructions carefully. There is help available in-person for you -- See the student support schedule which is linked from the course home page.

8. When the date for the first test arrives (always a Tuesday), take the test online any time from noon until the following Tuesday at 9:00 am. (You should take the practice test  before you attempt the first real test.) Take the test in the first 48 hours of availability so that you receive a preliminary grading.

9. Repeat steps 6, 7, and 8 for the rest of the 11 modules which make up the course. Check the ISM 3011 Home Page and the class Weblog (linked from the ISM 3011 Home Page) regularly for class announcements.
