Finding Powerweb Articles

There have been several people coming to us that are unable to find certain powerweb articles. There are several ways you can go about finding them. THe cards are great but sometimes you can't find the article with either one of them. After checking under both cards, what next?

Our advice is the Site index: This is probably the single most effective tool I have used. Go to the website by going to out homepage and clicking the powerweb link near the middle of the page. From there, click (on left) the Site Index link. Use this search tool by putting parts of the titles (word cominations you think are unique. i.e. Not words like in, the, etc..).such as "Ripple Effect". The link you get will not always be the title itself. It may be Information Technology for example. This means you could have found the same article using the Information Technology card. Using the site index may yield more results for you when trying to find powerweb articles.

Did you try looking in the other powerweb book online? The
MIS book, remember there are two books on that site. So if its not in
one....try looking in the other..I hope this helps.
