Teaching Style:   I am a strong proponent of self-directed learning as people learn best by "doing" and "applying".  Your responsibility is to direct your own learning; my responsibility is to guide your learning towards new ideas and challenge you to create your best work.   In addition, since adult learning theory indicates that adults learn more when having fun, I attempt to provide an enjoyable learning culture in our classroom.  My goal is for you to learn and succeed.

How To Excel: One of my favorite quotes is, I believe, from Eleanor Roosevelt;  "Show up, pay attention, and be open to the outcome." If you want to improve your outcome, then take the initiative to meet with me for individual coaching.
