Dr. James Jiang is Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Central Florida. He is/was also the honorary Distinguished Chair-Professor (特聘講座) at National Taiwan University, National Sun Yet-San Management Chair Professor at National Sun Yet-San University, Jin-Ding MIS Chair Professor at National Central University, Management  College Chair Professor at National Chung Kung University, and Distinguished I&M Professor at Yuan-Ze University, Taiwan.       

His research interest is in IS project/program/portfolio management.  He has published over one hundred referred academic journal articles in the journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), Decision Sciences (DS), Journal of Association of Information Systems (JAIS), and MIS Quarterly (MISQ).   Recent articles published by the Communications of the Association of Information Systems (CAIS, 2005; CAIS, 2009) and European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS, 2007) have ranked him as one of the global most productive IS researchers.  Currently, he serves as an associate editor in several international IS academic journals including MIS Quarterly.
