| I've been trying to find some object modeling software for you. I've decided to use a package that I've used before. It's called Salsa. Here's a link to a zip file with the Salsa setup software. The file is 20mb. I will burn some CD's and hand them out, if you don't want to download it. Don't print the manual, it's 500 pages! I'll demo this in class. to an online Visual Basic tutorial. Since Access uses a
version of Visual Basic that we will be talking about later, I'd
recommend that ALL of you take a look at it. It's pretty simple
and straightforward.
Also, please not that the schedule has changed. We will NOT cover ER diagrams on the first test. And the date for Exam 2 has been moved up a week! I don't want to cover design, normalization and SQL all in one test, so I'm moving SQL until after the test and moving the test up. dr c 1/30/2002 |
