David Mayer's Research Interests My research interests concern social and ethical issues in organizational behavior and human resources. I conduct research in three major areas: (1) organizational justice, (2) behavioral ethics, and (3) workplace diversity. My research on organizational justice focuses on leadership and justice, justice climate, integrating justice and needs/identity, and individual differences and justice. My second stream of research, behavioral ethics, concerns ethical climate, ethical leadership, and prosocial and antisocial behavior. My third interest area, workplace diversity, includes reactions to diversity-related recruitment efforts such as affirmative action programs, discrimination, and examining the effects of diverse work groups. Themes throughout my research include a focus on multilevel issues, an interdisciplinary perspective, and scientist-practitioner approach. |
