Lab Attendance Policy

Note that medical absences are considered excused. Please secure a note from your health care provider and email your team and lab instructor to inform them of an absence due to illness. When you return to class, bring a copy of your doctor's note (bring one that you lab instructor can retain for their files) to class.

Unexcused absences are discouraged and will result in the following penalties:

1 absence  = 0 points deducted

2 absences = 20 points deducted (10% of lab points)

3 absences = 40 points deducted (20% of lab points)

4 absences = 60 points deducted (30% of lab points)
